We are immediately recruiting a Logistics Intern. This is a full-time paid position, located at our corporate offices near Center Township (Aliquippa), PA. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely shipment of products for our retail and distribution accounts, inventory management, production planning, and intercompany replenishment, for ARDEX customers across the US, Canada, and Latin America.
The successful candidate will be highly customer focused, a keen and effective problem solver under pressure, and above all, be a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform confirmation and shipping set up for retail accounts for given deadlines.
- Dispatch trucks for appropriate distribution and Regional Distribution Center ("RDC") orders.
- Perform shipping and Inter-Branch Transfers ("IBT") processes in a timely manner.
- Maintain thorough understanding of the shipment building and IBT processes.
- Issue weekly production schedules and monitor daily for needed adjustments that optimize inventory levels while serving customer needs.
- Execute daily and weekly reporting as needed.
