CNC Milling & Lathe Operators – Temp-to-Perm

Location: Billerica, MA
Pay: $24–$30 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent

We are seeking energetic CNC Milling and Lathe Operators to join a growing manufacturing team on a temp-to-perm basis. The facility is conveniently located in Billerica, MA with easy access to all major highways. The production environment is clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern CNC technology. The company services a variety of industries and specializes in stainless steel and high-temperature alloys.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling and lathe machines, including loading and unloading parts.
• Perform in-process part inspections and basic troubleshooting to ensure quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Use basic measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Maintain established quality and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of CNC machining or operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic machining knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use inspection tools such as verniers, micrometers, and dial/drop indicators.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and follow machining concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
