Position Summary:
The Mechanical Service Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 5–6 sales professionals, supporting MEP estimating and project management efforts, and cultivating new customer relationships and business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of mechanical systems and service sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–6 service sales representatives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
- Assist with mechanical estimating and project management for service and retrofit projects.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and customer relationships.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical service sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical estimating, and project management.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
