Position Overview
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, uptime, and performance of production equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise across multiple disciplines, including electrical systems, mechanical repair, and PLC diagnostics. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with experience in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and industrial wiring.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues; make program adjustments and assist with logic edits as needed.
- Maintain, repair, and rebuild mechanical components such as gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotic equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Document all maintenance activities using the plant’s CMMS system.
- Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and plant standards.
Qualifications
- Multi-craft maintenance experience in an automotive, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including working knowledge of 480V systems and control circuits.
- Hands-on PLC experience (Allen-Bradley preferred) in troubleshooting, ladder logic interpretation, and minor program edits.
- Solid mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automated machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Experience with robotics (Fanuc, ABB, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.

Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
