Responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries, supporting payroll and benefits administration, assisting with talent acquisition and employee relations, and coordinating local employee events. - Responds to employee and applicant questions via phone, email, or in-person
- Manages application status updates and follow-ups
- Consults with Human Resource Business Leaders & Partners, Payroll and Benefits Specialists, and Talent Acquisition Specialists to resolve complex matters
- Supports employee benefits enrollment processes, relating to new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and eligibility updates
- Helps coordinate open enrollment activities, including employee communications and data processing
- Partners with Human Resources to administer payroll, leaves of absence, time and labor transactions
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, policies, etc. while delivering timely, accurate, and professional customer service
- Maintains Human Resource records and ensures accurate information flow between departments
- Supports special events and employee recognition programs
- Manage employee foot traffic in common area of HR courteously and patiently, ensuring all have been “heard” and will receive appropriate follow up and meeting scheduling if needed
- Works core office hours when foot traffic from workforce is at its peak to optimize support for other HR colleagues
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration or related field preferred
- 2 years of Human Resource experience
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to audit and reconcile data
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of Human Resource compliance, labor laws, employee relations, benefits, and policies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
