Position Summary - Paid Internships for Summer 2026
Arctic Cat is hiring Interns for summer 2026. These are full-time positions in Thief River Falls, MN and will provide you with an opportunity to explore all aspects of engineering supporting the design, development and manufacturing of snowmobiles and off road vehicles. You'll be able to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects and gain valuable experience in the powersports manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities
- Product Design & Development: layout, design, and completion of engineering drawings for components and assemblies
- Analysis & Testing: basic engineering calculations, structural and performance tests, data analysis, and troubleshooting design issues found during testing.
- Documentation: Create and revise technical documentation, including functional specifications, engineering design standards, BOMs, and test reports.
- Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues, optimize assembly processes, and provide engineering support on equipment or facilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited institution. 2026 graduates welcome to apply.
- Critical thinking: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and exposure to CAD software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a drive to apply classroom knowledge to complete tasks and assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
