What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Arcosa Brand?
Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Billing Specialist based out of our Tinton Falls, NJ office for our East Region. This role is responsible for preparing and verifying invoices, updating records, and coordinating with Sales. Accuracy, organization, math skills, and computer proficiency are essential for managing financial data efficiently.
Day to Day
- Checking the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
- Generate invoices through an automated system and send them to customers through various channels (mail, e-mail etc.)
- Maintain daily logs/reconciliations to ensure accuracy of billing.
- Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary
- Assist customers, sales and accounting team with any questions, comments or concerns regarding invoices and statements.
- Report to upper management as requested.
- Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
- Monday through Friday, in office schedule. Overtime may be required during month end process.
About You
- Proven experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience. Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., NetSuite and JWS) will be appreciated.
- Excellent math ability.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive, Team-based attitude
Compensation
- $51,198 - $79,023 annually
