The business was founded in 1989 as the Midwest Copier Exchange and today operates through ARCOA Group with 6 facilities located in Illinois, Ohio and Colorado.

ARCOA Recycling –IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Electronics Recycling

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and develop our warehouse and logistics operations. You will be responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, and client relationship management at the highest level. This role involves directing operations across multiple teams and divisions, developing and implementing long-term strategies, and serving as a key advisor to senior leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead multiple teams across warehouse, logistics, and client-facing operations
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
Oversee the development and implementation of new technologies and methodologies
Manage the budget and financial performance
Lead high-level client meetings and business reviews, presenting strategic insights and recommendations
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of services across the organization
Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with data security, facility security, health and safety, and local and federal regulations
Support new client opportunities
Mentor and develop leadership talent within the organization
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
Ensure the company consistently meets and exceeds client SLA requirements
Lead the development of forecasting models for staffing, inventory, and other operational needs
Analyze and manage inventory of client and company owned inventory
Develop and implement strategies to resolve complex issues and oversee large-scale initiatives
Establish and monitor KPIs, using data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure adherence to all core processes
Develop communication strategies to keep teams informed of changes and incorporate feedback effectively
Oversee the establishment and maintenance of operational and quality standards
Lead the development and implementation of new procedures in partnership with clients
Oversee asset audits and strategic reporting initiatives for clients
Develop strategies for hardware repair, upgrades, maintenance, and refurbishment programs
Ensure accurate asset tracking and documentation across multiple client accounts
Prioritize critical workstreams and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery of high-value deliverables
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ability to work in a warehouse environment
Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day
Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
The ability to pass a drug test/background screen with no prior convictions of theft related felonies in the last 7 years
The ability to speak/read English fluently
Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
