Primary Responsibilities
- Operates within a team-oriented maintenance group to provide customer service and technical expertise of equipment and process.
- Perform plant maintenance and troubleshooting on production and auxiliary equipment
- Strive to continually improve dilution equipment and application process of anti-tack.
- Preventive maintenance of valves, pneumatic and electrical pumps, motors, tank mixing systems, chillers, compressors, etc.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical and pneumatic circuits.
- Maintain inventory of parts in the maintenance parts room.
- Respond to customer issues and trouble calls in the plant.
- Recognize opportunity for improvement on existing operations and equipment.
- Effectively communicate issues and solutions to customers and management.
- Ability to work with PLC’s is considered a plus.
- Sufficient knowledge and skill to be able to use computers.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Meets all job specific education requirements as deemed necessary.
- Technical Degree or equivalent; training is considered a plus.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing plant maintenance.
- Stands, bends, stoops, squats, reaches, twists, and otherwise moves continuously during the work day.
- Frequently walks throughout the workday.
- Frequently reaches above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh 30 – 50 pounds.
- Pushes and pulls frequently.
- Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment.
- Endures extreme temperatures of heat and cold to include a wet or dusty environment.
- Withstands loud noise and distractions.
- Ability to wear a respirator when required.
