Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Emergency Services
Location: Syracuse, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Days/Evenings/Nights (24/7 operation)
Compensation: $88,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experience
Position Overview:
Seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an Emergency Services team. The NP/PA will work collaboratively with Emergency Physicians and other advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, assisting in emergency procedures, and providing patient counseling and education.
Qualifications:
Current New York State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
Completion of annual NIHSS and stroke CME
Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations
Strong knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based emergency care practices
