Manual Software Test Analyst

Archon Resources is currently seeking a Manual Software Test Analyst for a client in Tulsa, OK. This position will support enterprise operational systems through software testing, business analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user support activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise applications, performing functional testing, supporting business users, and utilizing SQL for reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform software testing activities including test planning, test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and validation of system functionality.
• Support efforts to define, document, and maintain business processes, system specifications, functional requirements, and functional designs.
• Work closely with business users and development teams to gain a strong understanding of supported business operations and workflows.
• Design testing procedures to measure process efficiency, system integrity, and functionality.
• Execute moderate to complex software test cases and assist with overall testing strategy and coordination.
• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track system issues through resolution.
• Support enhancements and procedural changes for enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain SQL queries, reports, and data analysis tools for stakeholders and end users.
• Participate in project teams to support business analysis and system improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, system documentation, reports, and related materials.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to users and stakeholders as needed.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise applications and business systems.
• Experience with software testing, QA processes, or system validation activities.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and tracking defects/issues.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience writing SQL queries for reporting, validation, and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze system functionality and evaluate software-related issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document business processes, procedures, and system functionality.
• Experience interacting with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Ability to develop and present information to individuals and groups.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IBM Maximo.
• Experience with Pragma CAD or similar operational/CAD systems.
• Exposure to DevOps environments or deployment processes.
• Experience within utility, energy, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
