Our summer internship program allows you to learn more about the Fire & Life Safety industry and our business before beginning your career after graduation. As a Fire & Life Safety Intern, you will work closely with our project teams to support key operational functions while developing your skills in system design, code compliance, and field coordination.

About The Position

- Assist with quantity takeoffs and material cost calculations for various construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
- Research vendor pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases.
- Participate in bid preparations and pre-construction planning meetings.
- Must currently be enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a business-related field.
- Must possess a strong desire to start a career in the Fire & Life Safety or electrical construction industry.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of Fire & Life Safety projects.
- Prior construction or Fire & Life Safety experience is a plus.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Accubid, or other construction technology is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Occasional travel to the project site or working from the project site may be required
- $26 or $28 hourly, based on experience and qualifications.
