Overview
We are a well-established commercial door company looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our installation team. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude. Most of the work is local and in town, with occasional out-of-town jobs that require travel for 1–2 weeks at a time (not a rotation). Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a crew that values good work, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-hire drug screening. Drug-free workplace.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Install commercial overhead doors, special function doors, operable partitions, translucent fiberglass panels, and operators (if equipped).
- Install hollow metal, steel, and wood man doors, frames, and hardware.
- Service and repair commercial door systems.
- Read installation instructions and job specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Operate equipment necessary for installation (forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial lifts).
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Construction or installation experience is a plus.
- Mechanically inclined and able to learn quickly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Able to lift 75–100 lbs.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
