Most of the work is local and in town, with occasional out-of-town jobs that require travel for 1–2 weeks at a time (not a rotation). Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a crew that values good work, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work with your hands inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and installing overhead doors and related hardware in residential, commercial, industrial settings. Tasks include troubleshooting mechanical issues, replacing worn or damaged parts, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with new installations. Depending on the job, you may also use carpentry, metalworking, or fabrication skills. The work involves lifting, using hand and power tools, and working safely on active job sites. You’ll also interact with customers in a professional, friendly way and help keep basic service records.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience in construction, maintenance, mechanical work, or a related trade is preferred, but not required. If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools, and willing to learn, we’re happy to train the right person. Experience with carpentry, framing, welding, fabrication, or general trade work is a plus. You should be able to lift heavy materials safely, follow safety procedures, and take pride in doing quality work.
