Summary
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings, Client Services Division, Labor and Custodial Branch, Night Labor and Custodial Section, Floor Care Unit. The purpose of the position is to provide assistance to journey-level workers in, and to learn the skills associated with, cleaning floors, carpets and walls in the Senate Office Buildings.

SCREEN-OUT: Ability to do the work of a floor maintenance helper without more than normal supervision: 1.Carpet and floor cleaning techniques to perform maintenance and cleaning tasks of stone, wood, and carpeted floors and walls. 2.Uses heavy powered equipment such as wall washers, floor grinding and honing equipment, buffers, and rug shampooers. 3.Moves furniture, heavy equipment, and other items to clear floor areas.
