Position Overview
We are seeking a highly committed, design-oriented Architectural Designer to contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects, with particular focus on supporting—and depending on experience, leading—projects from the initial ideation to realization, engaging SD, DD, CD, and CA phases. This role requires exceptional design abilities and strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work within a research-driven and design-centered studio environment where you will have direct involvement in shaping projects from initial concept through final execution, with meaningful responsibility for driving projects forward and contributing to built design outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Interest and capacity for concept/ research-driven design processes and development
- Exposure to SD, DD, CD, and CA phases of design-oriented projects, with an ability to independently and collaboratively coordinate and execute documentation and administration (level of responsibility will be calibrated to experience).
- NYC-based (In-person position)
- An M.Arch or B. Arch degree / Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Advanced proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe CC Suite, rendering software, and physical model making.
- Familiarity with/interest in art, spaces of art, and cultural/institutional programs
- Working knowledge of NYC building codes
- Experience in /exposure to reuse projects
- Interest/capacity for research and design in wide range of scales, topics, types, and media explored at our practice
