Pay based on experience.
- Proven experience working in a dealership or heavy equipment service environment with knowledge of diesel mechanics and automotive repair processes
- Familiarity with schematics, mechanical systems repair, and diagnostic tools used in automotive electrical system repair and HVAC systems
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, excavators, cranes, tractor-trailers, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes (including air brakes), alignment procedures, hydraulics, welding, soldering, and tire service
- Ability to read technical schematics and utilize diagnostic tools for automotive electrical systems and vehicle systems troubleshooting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks such as parts inventory control and customer service efficiently
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate hand tools or power tools as needed for maintenance support
- Effective communication skills to liaise between technicians, vendors, customers, and management
Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
