We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Frying is a MUST! Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus.
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Experience as a dietary aide or in food service roles is advantageous but not required.
