**$25–$32/hr base commission | Full-time | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM PT | Active CA P&C license required**

We're Archer Insurance Agency — an established Farmers Insurance agency with offices in Westlake Village, CA and Farragut, TN. Our California office is growing, and we're looking for a licensed professional who enjoys both the service side of insurance and the satisfaction of helping clients get properly covered at renewal.

**First things first — the filter.** This role requires an active California Property & Casualty license. If you're not already licensed, this isn't the right opportunity — we're not able to sponsor licensing for this position.

**The role in plain terms:**

This is a hybrid seat — roughly half service, half renewals and coverage review. On the service side, you keep the operation running: policy changes, service alerts, billing, inbound calls. On the renewals side, you review accounts as they come up each year, look for coverage gaps, and have proactive conversations with clients about making sure their coverage still fits their life — including recommending additional lines when it makes sense for them.

You're not a high-pressure salesperson and you're not cold-calling strangers. You're a trusted advisor to people who are already our clients, making sure they're properly protected. The cross-sell that comes from that is rewarded with commission on top of your base.

Responsibilities

**A typical week:**

- Work service alerts and process adds/moves/changes (ADM) on personal lines policies

- Handle billing and non-pay calls with patience and accuracy

- Review upcoming renewals, account by account, and identify coverage gaps

- Reach out to clients with coverage reviews and recommendations

- Quote and write additional lines for existing clients (auto, home, umbrella, life)

- Take inbound calls and support walk-ins

- Keep our agency management system clean and current

The best fit is someone who takes pride in accurate, well-documented service AND genuinely enjoys helping a client realize they're underinsured and fixing it. If you only want heads-down service with no client conversations, this isn't quite the seat. If you only want to sell and don't care about the service details, this isn't it either. The sweet spot is someone who values both.

Requirements

- Active CA Property & Casualty license (required, no exceptions)

- 2 years of personal lines insurance experience

- Comfort with consultative client conversations — not high-pressure sales, but not pure order-taking either

- Strong attention to detail and organizational habits

- Experience with AgencyZoom or a similar agency management system is a plus

- In-office, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM PT, Monday–Friday — this is not a remote or hybrid role
