- On time delivery of all the tasked projects on flavor recommendations and submissions
- Assist in the flavor selection process to ensure flavor wins
- Customer interfacing to assist ADM’s commercial and technical proposition
- Coordination and management of project initiation, planning, execution, delivery acceptance and close
- Maintain and Manage China Flavors Portfolio by adding superior new flavors and remove those that over time become ineffective
- Prepare application samples and conduct evaluation sessions of flavors for potential addition to the portfolio.
- Collaborative team approach with PD&A in flavor selection during the project development phase.
- Build and manage local core portfolio list and sample stocks in various sites
- Enhance Portfolio communications and collaborations within APAC countries and globally
- Identify Portfolio Gaps and work with the cross-functional teams to fill them
- Identify and align key business growth/big rocks and develop suitable sub-portfolio/collections for promotions
- Request/collecting the samples from overseas factories/laboratories
- This role is required to keep good records of all related information for core portfolio items, update as required and necessary.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Update & Maintenance of portfolio data systems
- The role is diligent in the implementation of all company policy requirements including monthly and quarterly reporting, compliance, training and other items as assigned by Management.
- Enable sales to promote portfolio products via training and the development of collateral materials that help articulate the value proposition
- All other tasks as directed or as required for the successful completion of the role
Your Profile
- Science degree (Bachelors minimum), preferably with Chemistry/Food Science as major
- At least 5 years experience in food ingredients, and/or Flavor Industry in an Application, Sensory, Product Application Technologist type of role
- English necessary
- Acute sensory capability desirable
- Strong commercial and marketing sense and skills
- Good computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office is a must especially Excel and PowerPoint application
- Previous experience in product management is a plus
