Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with students during before-school care hours.
- Welcome students as they arrive and ensure a smooth transition into the school day.
- Assist with quiet morning activities such as reading, light games, or homework completion.
- Monitor student behavior and ensure safety and well-being at all times.
- Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and parents.
- Communicate effectively with the Before Care Coordinator, teachers, and parents.
- Help prepare and organize the care space before and after use.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including emergency and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting preferred.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Warm, patient, and consistent in interactions with students.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required.
