Job Responsibilities
Advancement Support:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintain and update donor records in the school's advancement database (e.g., Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge).
- Prepare donor acknowledgment letters and other correspondence.
- Support mailings, appeals, and reports for fundraising and alumni engagement.
- Conduct basic donor research to support cultivation and stewardship efforts.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Advancement and team, including scheduling, record-keeping, and meeting coordination.
- Help coordinate logistics for advancement events such as the annual gala, golf tournaments, alumni reunions, donor recognition events, and Pioneer tours.
- Assist with vendor communications, guest list management, RSVPs, setup, and on-site event execution.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure timely promotion of events through social media, email, and printed materials.
- Track event budgets and expenses, and support post-event analysis and reporting.
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative support, development, or event planning is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning donor database software.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, professional attitude with a commitment to the mission of Duchesne High School.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for events.
