Job Summary
Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled 1st Grade Teacher to join its school community. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual development of young learners while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction.

Pre-Employment Screening

The screening will include criminal background check, Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, employment and educational licensure/certification verification, health screening, and any other screenings deemed necessary for employment. Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with grade-level curriculum and standards across core subjects.
- Foster a positive, welcoming, and faith-centered classroom environment.
- Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and values throughout the school day.
- Assess student progress through observations, assignments, and assessments, providing timely feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and readiness levels.
- Establish clear classroom routines and maintain effective behavior management.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and school initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-related events.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Practicing Catholic or willingness to support the mission of Catholic education.
- Experience working with early elementary students preferred.
- Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, student-centered lessons.
- Commitment to supporting the academic and spiritual growth of students.
