Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Salary: $70,000-$110,000 DOE. - Create a supportive and caring classroom environment in which every student can learn both independently and collaboratively.
- Build open, cooperative, and meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and parents;
- Inculcate a culture of excellence in your classroom;
- Teach the school curriculum with fidelity;
- Align instruction with known best practices: a concise and assessable objective, appropriate scaffolding, frequent checks for understanding paired with reteaching or clarification, and independent practice to demonstrate mastery;
- Consistently use formative assessment data to both drive instruction and develop short and long-term learning targets for all students;
- Differentiate instruction so that all students achieve mastery of learning targets;
- Work with the grade-level teaching team to plan, create common assessments, and analyze data to ensure the success of all students;
- Participate in all staff, building, and grade level meetings and perform various faculty supervisory duties.
