Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School in Santa Clarita is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled self-contained 2nd grade teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and organized educator who is committed to fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners. This teacher will create a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment, implement standards-based instruction, and effectively integrate technology to enhance student learning. Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management skills, excellent communication with students, parents, and colleagues, and a willingness to actively participate in the life of the school community. Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and hold a CA Teaching Credential Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred. Additional requirements: Virtus Certified; Live Scan through ADLA; TB Neg. Test Result; CPR Certification and Catechetical Certification (preferred).
- Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (CA Special Ed Credential and Single Subject Credential would be considered.)
