The Director of Spiritual Formation is responsible for cultivating a religious strategy that fosters spiritual growth and discipleship for St. Michael Catholic School. This role provides leadership, vision, and oversight for programs, resources, and environments that help individuals deepen their relationship with God, grow in spiritual maturity, and engage in authentic Catholic community.
Key Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive spiritual formation strategy aligned with the organization's mission and values
- Define pathways for discipleship and spiritual growth for individuals at all stages of faith
- Evaluate and continuously improve formation initiatives and outcomes.
- Design and oversee program such as small groups, classes, retreats, mentoring, and discipleship initiatives.
- Curate and develop spiritually formative content, curriculum and resources.
- Integrate spiritual formation practices (e.g. prayer, scripture engagement, worship).
- Deep understanding of Christian spiritual formation and discipleship models.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Theology or related field preferred.
- 5 years of Ministry leadership experience, particularly in spiritual formation.
