Rycore Capital LP (“Rycore” or the “Firm”), is a well-capitalized real estate private equity and advisory firm, based in Houston, Texas. The founder and team have executed approximately $1 billion in real estate acquisitions and development across various real estate asset classes. The Firm’s focus is on acquiring, leasing and managing office, industrial, retail and healthcare properties across the United States. Through the ownership group, the Firm is positioned to access various sources of capital and has the ability to execute quickly.

 

Opportunity

The role of the Director of Capital Formation is to lead private capital raising initiatives across the company by building relationships with prospective LP investors. This position is a sales and business development position and the individual must be comfortable interacting with prospects and pitching the firm and its investment products. This role will focus on growing the high-net-worth individual, family office, and institutional equity relationships of the company. This is a ground floor opportunity working directly with the Firm’s founder to grow the investor relations team and take on a leadership role.

Responsibilities

·       Focus on raising capital. Build and cultivate existing investor relationships with family offices, high-net-worth investors, fund of funds, etc.

·       Build network of high net worth and family office investor relationships as foundation for future capital raises. The capital raise focus is not institutional but retail investors.

·       Identify potential investors and develop proper points of contact, both direct and indirect, in order to develop direct relationships for capital raising

·       Initiate calls to investors and meet face-to-face to discuss investment opportunities

·     Participate in strategic planning with senior management to set financial goals, as well as the company’s strategic agenda

·       Effectively articulate the investment philosophy and strategy to potential and existing investors

·       Coordinate directly with the Asset Management team in regard to on-going compliance, exit strategy planning, and side letter tracking

·   Lead process of the development of all marketing materials (investment packages, website, presentations, letters) used in the capital raising process; ensure consistent standards for all material and in all external communications

·       Participate in organizing investor due diligence through a formalized deal room

·       Assist in inputting investor details in company CRM system

·       Complete any other items as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field; strong academic record.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in marketing, investor relations, or business development support; experience with private markets a plus.

·       MUST HAVE Track record of success raising capital for unregistered alternative investment products

·       MUST HAVE current and prospective clients with interest in private real estate investments

·       Successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills

·       Strong planning, organization, analytical and technical skills are required

·       Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and work independently to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

·   Must be a team player and posses the ability to drive key decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

·      Flexibility for business travel that includes attending investment conferences and shareholder/prospect sales calls


Preferred Attributes

  • Exposure to fundraising or investor relations at a private investment, real estate, or asset management firm.
  • Experience supporting compliance filings and managing investor documentation.
  • Familiarity with private investment strategies, fund structures, or institutional investor expectations.
