About: St. Frances Cabrini Parish & School is a Roman Catholic Church and co-educational PK – 12 grade school, within the Archdiocese of Detroit, in Allen Park, Michigan. Founded in 1946, St. Frances Cabrini Parish has 1,500 parish families and 555 students.

Goal: The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for fostering an environment where our community’s young people enjoy their youth and teach them how to be faith and community leaders through athletic programming.
Cabrini Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team. Under the supervision of the Principal, the teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual development of students while supporting the mission of Catholic education.
Responsibilities
Support and promote the Catholic mission and values of Cabrini Catholic School.
- Integrate Catholic teachings and Gospel values into daily instruction and interactions.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with school and Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
- Create a positive, organized, and effective learning environment.
- Assess student learning and communicate student progress effectively.
- Establish and maintain high expectations for student behavior and classroom management.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, parents, and administration to support student success.
- Participate in school faith formation, service projects, and community-building activities.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to school policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Cabrini Catholic School.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Proficiency with educational technology and computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
- Successful completion of criminal background screening and Protecting God's Children requirements.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university.
- Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate.
