Administrative Assistant
Position Summary: Christ the King School is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Elementary School Front Office Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors to the school, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the front office.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
- Greet visitors, parents, and students in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Student Attendance and Records:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance using the school's database system.
- Assist with student enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer processes.
- Ensure all student records are up-to-date and comply with relevant regulations.
Parent and Visitor Relations:
- Provide information and assistance to parents regarding school policies, procedures, and events.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for school administrators and teachers as needed.
- Coordinate visitor access and ensure compliance with school security protocols.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of school communications, including newsletters, announcements, and calendars.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist with basic clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
