Description
- Stock blanket warmers and patient treatment rooms with appropriate linens.
- Fill oxygen tanks.
- Maintain IV pumps.
- Return patient trays to Nutrition Services.
- Check and log refrigerator temperatures.
- Complete patient assessments by collecting data to include but not limited to: weight, temperature, pain, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide assistance to the nurse/physician during procedures.
- Document actions/observations on ED chart.
- Must have high school diploma or GED. Requires certification in Basic Life Support.
- Medical experience preferred. Knowledge and experience of taking vital
- signs preferred. Must be familiar with all facets of basic patient care functions
