Description
- Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care developed by the therapist across the age continuum (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric)
- Provide formal and informal teaching of patient and family
- Understand and implement a plan of care and recognize the need for intervention by the Physical Therapist
- Communicate effectively both written and verbally with other healthcare personnel, the patient, family, and community members
- Assist patients in practicing skills in mobility and exercise
- Graduate of an accredited two year physical therapy assistant program
- Licensed as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Georgia
- Current certification in Basic Life Support
