Archangel Care Services is looking for a Virtual Assistant - Accountant & Bookkeeper located in the Philippines who will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves overseeing billing, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting supporting the efficient operation of the business. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the financial health of the company is maintained while complying with industry-specific guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll for caregivers and administrative staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws and home care wage regulations.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business decisions.
- Handle billing and reimbursement processes for private insurance, and client payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment collections, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Maintain compliance with home care financial regulations, tax requirements, and industry standards.
- Track and analyze financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for financial improvement.
- Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory reports as required.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights on financial planning, cash flow management, and operational costs.
- Assist in audits and financial reviews by maintaining proper documentation and records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in healthcare or home care accounting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance billing processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, FreshBooks, or industry-specific platforms.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and accuracy.
