Job Description:Position Title: HR ManagerLocation: Baltimore, MD (Remote – occasional travel as needed)Employment Type: Full-timeOverview:Arch Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist with a strong background in benefits administration and federal contracting environments. The ideal candidate will manage a broad range of HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and total rewards while ensuring adherence to federal contracting regulations, DCAA standards, and company policies.Key Responsibilities: Human Resources AdministrationServe as the primary point of contact for HR operations including employee onboarding, offboarding, and records management.Maintain personnel files in compliance with company and federal contracting requirements.Support HRIS data integrity and reporting; generate ad-hoc reports for leadership and compliance audits.Coordinate recruitment and hiring processes in collaboration with hiring managers and recruiting partners.Benefits Management:Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and voluntary benefits.Serve as liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure timely enrollments and changes.Oversee annual open enrollment process and coordinate with payroll for benefit deductions.Maintain compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.Provide benefits education and counseling to employees throughout the employment lifecycle.Compliance & Reporting:Ensure HR practices align with DOL, EEOC, OFCCP, and other federal requirements for government contractors.Support audit readiness for DCAA, E-Verify, I-9, and EEO-1 compliance reporting.Maintain internal HR policies and procedures aligned with FAR/DFARS clauses relevant to personnel management.Employee Relations & Support:Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and performance management.Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.Assist in resolving workplace issues, escalating to leadership or legal counsel when appropriate.Qualifications Required:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years supporting a government contractor.Demonstrated experience managing employee benefits programs.Knowledge of federal HR compliance requirements (EEO, FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.).Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred:PHR or SHRM-CP certification.Experience with Quickbooks, Rippling, Deltek Costpoint, ADP, or other federal contractor HR/payroll systems.Familiarity with DCAA and FAR personnel compliance requirements.Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.Why Join Arch Systems LLC:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Inclusive culture focused on professional development and employee well-being.Opportunity to work on high-impact federal programs supporting mission-driven initiatives.Company DescriptionHIGH Growth, small business.
