We're looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Service & Warehouse Coordinator to support our growing La Porte branch. This position serves as a key link between our customers, technicians, vendors, and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, service scheduling, inventory management, and warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being an essential part of a high-performing team
What You'll Do
Service Coordination
Assist with scheduling service calls and preventive maintenance.
Communicate with customers regarding service appointments and job status.
Support technicians by ensuring they have accurate job information and necessary documentation.
Maintain service records and update internal software systems.
Monitor open work orders and assist in keeping jobs on schedule.
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely completion of work.
Warehouse Operations
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
Pull, stage, and prepare parts for field technicians.
Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
Research parts availability and assist with ordering when needed.
Track returns, warranty items, and cores.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Operate a forklift (training provided if needed).
Administrative Support
Enter purchase orders and inventory transactions accurately.
Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
Support branch operations with filing, data entry, and reporting.
Help identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of experience in customer service, warehouse operations, dispatching, service coordination, or a related role preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Forklift Experience Is a Plus But Not Required.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
