Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to deliver outstanding service
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency with quality standards
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Skytab and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Ensure smooth shift management by coordinating staff schedules, monitoring performance, and resolving operational issues promptly
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices across the kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and optimize resource utilization to maximize profitability
- Foster a positive team environment through effective training & development initiatives and leadership in hospitality management
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to guarantee satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain compliance with all health regulations, food safety protocols, and licensing requirements
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Skilled in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent staff training, supervision, and team management abilities
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food management strategies
- Familiarity with kitchen management, food safety regulations, and sanitation procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage shift operations effectively
- Previous experience in hotel or catering environments is a plus; culinary or hospitality management background highly valued
