Job Location: Indian Springs/Tolicha Peak
Purpose And Scope
Drive various types of trucks, such as Tractor Trailer combinations to transport various loads, which may include Hazardous Materials.
Essential Responsibilities
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Four (4) years' experience transporting heavy loads on multiple types of trailers, along with a safe driving record and history. Must have a willingness to work and follow directions, to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb ladders, lift, carry and place heavy objects (up to 100 pounds). Load and unload trailers with straps, chains and hooks, perform vehicle inspections, safely climb in and out of tractor cab, sit for extended periods of time, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous loads, maintain vehicle logs, prompt daily attendance & forklift experience preferred. Ability to obtain a forklift certification. Valid Class A CDL Driver's license with Hazmat endorsement.
Clearance: Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands And Mental Demands
Sit for extended periods of time, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous loads. Must have a willingness to work and follow directions, to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, lift carry and place heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

- Must have the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment and forklifts and to load and unload cargo.
- Check vehicles and equipment for correct operation and must be knowledgeable of cargo securement rules to ensure that every load is properly secured before transport.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers and refuel vehicles as required.
- Perform general housekeeping and grounds maintenance of vehicle parking areas.
- Travel as required by company. Other related duties as assigned by the Lead Technician.
- Focus on SAFETY, QUALITY ADN PROCEDURE COMPLIANCE
