What You’ll Do
As a key player on our dining services team, you will assist in managing and executing all dining service activities, ensuring an exceptional experience for our residents.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time Evening shift: 11:00am to closing (~8:30pm) on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Flexibility to assist with morning shift coverage (5:00am – 2:00pm) as needed
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $44,891 - $57,717
Responsibilities
- Plans and implements front of the house dining standards, procedures and service.
- Inputs charges for meals, special functions and other related charges.
- Assists in monthly in-services.
- Coordinates scheduling of waitstaff and hosts/hostess.
- Ensures dining functions and events are implemented according to service standards.
- Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
- Ensures departmental compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Dining Room. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency in Point-of-Sale Systems.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
