Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Regional nfection Preventionist Nurse is to plan, implement and evaluate infection prevention and control measures across all locations of the company.

The primary purpose of the Regional nfection Preventionist Nurse is to plan, implement and evaluate infection prevention and control measures across all locations of the company.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor and investigate known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control
- Review, analyze, and implement regulations, standards, and/or guidelines of applicable governmental agencies and professional organizations
- Collaborate in the development and delivery of educational programs and/or tools that relate to infection prevention, control, and epidemiology
- Report infection surveillance, prevention and control in formation to local, state and federal public health authorities in accordance with law and regulation

- Experience in Long Term Care, specifically as an Infection Preventionist, preferred.
- Must be a Registered Nurse, with a license in good standing in the state of IL.
- Infection Control credentials highly preferred.
