Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Oversee cashiering activities, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and balancing registers accurately
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a motivated and skilled retail sales team
- Implement employee orientation programs and conduct ongoing training & development initiatives to enhance team performance
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours
- Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, pricing strategies, sales analysis, and inventory management to meet financial goals
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting performance evaluations
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and general administrative tasks related to store operations
- Skilled in merchandising, marketing strategies, and promotional planning to enhance store visibility and sales growth
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
