Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Johnston, RI, for a Stair Builder/Apprentice at ARC Stair Design Inc. The Stair Builder/Apprentice will be responsible for assisting with the construction and installation of staircases. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, assembling stair components, using hand and power tools, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. This role involves working closely with experienced carpenters and following safety protocols on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Carpentry skills
- Experience with Hand Tools and Power Tools
- Skills in Framing and Finish Carpentry
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Experience in construction or related field is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
