RESIDENCE MANAGER
The Arc Westchester is seeking a Residence Manager to lead our residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this key leadership role, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for residents and guiding a dedicated team of direct support professionals.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a Team: Supervise, train, and mentor our residential staff, including Shift Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals. You'll also be involved in hiring new team members and supporting their professional growth.
- Ensure Well-being: Oversee the safety and daily well-being of residents, both at home and in the community.
- Manage Operations: Maintain compliance with all agency policies and regulations. This includes managing program finances, resident funds, and ensuring the timely upkeep of the residence and vehicles.
- Foster Communication: Facilitate regular staff meetings to keep the team aligned and informed.
What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field, plus at least one year of experience in a residential setting supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- OR a High School diploma with at least three years of experience in a residential setting working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- A valid New York State driver's license for at least 2 years.
