Day Program Manager

Arc of Maui County was established in 1954 and promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We actively support programs and services that assure full inclusion and participation in the community throughout life with Residential, Home & Community Based, Adult Day Health and Vocational Services.

We are actively seeking a team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage support staff and assist individuals to meet their goals, increase independence and improve their quality of life!

Full-time position available in our Adult Day Health Program.

Work shift is 8am-4pm - Mon-Fri in Wailuku.

Position includes health benefits (premium paid by the agency), vacation/sick, life insurance and a retirement plan.

Duties include; supervision of direct support staff, coordination of program activities and working directly with individuals to increase skills in activities of daily living, personal care, communication, socialization, vocational, health and nutrition.

Applicant requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with special needs or elderly population and supervisory experience required. Valid Driver's License, car insurance and a dependable vehicle. Mileage reimbursement included. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. CPR/FA and TB required upon hire (will assist to obtain).
