Position Summary
Arc of Acadiana is seeking a dependable, organized, and service-driven Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of assigned Residential Community Group Homes. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring individuals receive safe, consistent, and person-centered support in a home environment.
The Home Manager is responsible for supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), maintaining appropriate staffing coverage, supporting quality services, and helping ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and licensing requirements. This role works closely with Residential leadership, QIDPs, nursing, maintenance, and other support teams to promote continuity of care, accountability, and a safe and well-managed home.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage staff, respond to operational needs, maintain strong oversight of the home, and support a positive environment for both employees and individuals served.

Qualifications & Core Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in residential, healthcare, or human services setting required
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability
• Ability to coach, support, and hold staff accountable
• Strong documentation and follow-up skills
