POSITION SUMMARY
The Client Financial Clerk supports participant financial operations by maintaining budgets, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping. This role is responsible for managing client financial transactions, supporting bill payment processes, and assisting with reconciliation activities while maintaining compliance with established financial procedures and internal controls. The position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and accountability in handling participant funds.

Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:00 paid lunch
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Financial Management
• Maintain participant budgets and financial records
• Process and track bills, invoices, and payments
• Follow up on past due invoices and resolve discrepancies
Financial Controls & Compliance
• Ensure all transactions are properly documented
• Follow procedures for handling client funds and records
• Identify and report discrepancies or unusual activity
Reconciliation & Reporting
• Assist with monthly reconciliation and financial tracking
• Verify accuracy across financial systems and records
Government & Benefits Coordination
• Complete Social Security verification requests
• Communicate with Social Security as needed
• Manage participant SNAP accounts
Account & Administrative Support
• Open and close participant bank accounts
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
Team Collaboration
• Partner with internal teams to resolve financial issues
• Assist with financial support tasks as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 1 year administrative experience required
