Senior Project Manager, Environmental Assessment & Remediation - Immediate Hire
Arc Environmental is a leading environmental consulting and professional services firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving federal, state, local, private, and industrial clients for more than 30 years. As we continue to expand our footprint and service capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Environmental Assessment and Remediation team and contribute to our growth objectives.
Position Overview
Arc Environmental is seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Manager to manage environmental assessment and remediation projects while providing exceptional consultative services to our clients.
This role is responsible for overseeing task orders and contracts, mentoring junior staff, ensuring quality control of deliverables, and supporting client relationships. The successful candidate will also perform periodic field assessments and inspections.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop sampling and work plans for environmental assessment and remediation projects
- Prepare cost estimates and client proposals
- Coordinate and schedule field assessments
- Proactively manage project-related tasks and timelines
- Perform site assessments, sampling, and quantification activities
- Evaluate and interpret analytical data
- Prepare and review technical deliverables
- Maintain existing client relationships and develop new partnerships
- Track project budgets and deadlines
- Assist with invoicing and project closeout
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- 12–15 years of professional experience in environmental investigations and remediation
- 12–15 years of project management experience
Preferred Licenses & Certifications
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with current 8-hour refreshers
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred, not required)

Compensation
In accordance with Maryland law, the base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $125,000, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, book of business, and overall qualifications. This range is intentionally broad to reflect our commitment to evaluating each candidate based on their unique experience and potential to support our growth objectives.
