- Assists the Behavioral Team Leader in conducting assessment and developing behavior plans that help the children develop skills and adaptive behaviors
- Trains and coaches direct support professionals to implement the behavior plans and document data
- Leads the classrooms teams in procedures to prevent and de-escalate crisis behaviors and implement positive classroom management strategies
- Monitors the progress of each student through analysis of data and ensures procedural modifications are made as warranted
- Leads the classrooms teams in engagement of all activities and lessons using positive prompting and reinforcement
- Models and reinforces effective classroom management, prevention, de-escalation, crisis management, and transition strategies
- Associate Degree in Psychology or related field plus 2 or more years of experience including implementation of ABA plans and crisis intervention with individuals with developmental disabilities or High School diploma plus 4 or more years of experience
- RBT Certification required within 1 year of employment
- Valid FL driver’s license
