Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Member Service Representative (Teller) to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting members with daily financial transactions, opening new accounts, and providing exceptional customer service while building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers
- Open new member accounts and assist with account maintenance
- Educate members on products and services that best fit their financial needs
- Accurately handle cash and balance a cash drawer daily
- Answer questions and resolve member concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all security procedures
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cash handling, customer service, or account opening experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Banking or credit union experience
- Sales or cross-selling experience
- Experience opening accounts or onboarding customers
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
