About the Role

Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Technicians to join our Environmental Services team. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors throughout our hospital campus and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the hospital and related buildings.
• Collect and dispose of garbage safely and efficiently.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hospital laundry.
• Maintain floors by vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing using specialized equipment.
• Clean and prepare patient rooms upon discharge.
• Complete assigned duties with patient safety and infection control as top priorities.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
