Required: Knowledge normally acquired through the completion of a high school level of education. Minimum 3 years’ experience in food service.

What You’ll Do
- Prep fresh ingredients, build out the salad bar, and contribute to breakfast and lunch service
- Create delicious soups, sandwiches, and entrees with care and consistency
- Follow doctors’ and dietitians’ orders for special diets
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace
- Take food temps, record in logs, and adhere to safety and infection control policies
- Accept deliveries and assist in dishwashing when needed
- Operate and care for kitchen equipment properly
- At least 3 years of food service experience (hospital or institutional setting a plus)
- Strong understanding of nutrition basics, special diets, and safe food handling
- Reliable and adaptable with great communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts and follow directions accurately
- Bonus points for experience with baking and meal ticket systems
