Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels as needed.
- Prepare meals or assist with cooking when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure adherence to housekeeping standards.
- Handle custodial duties such as waste disposal and restocking supplies in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Assist with carpet cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold the aesthetic quality of the premises.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and residents.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving furniture if necessary.
- A valid driver's license may be required for positions involving travel between locations.
